What subjects do you tutor?
Although Leah primarily tutors students needing additional help in literacy and math, she is able to tutor in other areas as well. In the past, she has:
-helped students prepare for exams in other subjects.
-worked on study and organization skills.
-helped students understand a variety of classroom topics.
-worked with students as young as four years old to prepare them for kindergarten.
-assisted students through high school on managing their work load.

There are many tutors out there who have never taught in a classroom. Prior to becoming a private tutor, Leah taught in the classroom for seven years. She has experience working with students of all ages. Leah doesn't just have the content knowledge, but she also understands how children learn. Since this is her full time job, she is truly able to tailor her teaching approach to each individual student's learning style. Every single lesson that she presents is unique for that child.
